It is the customer's responsibility to judge whether or not the software meets his needs.
Future IS Consulting Limited has made no survey of the customer's requirements and makes no warranty as to the suitability of the software for the customer's specific
needs. Future IS Consulting Limited may decline to accept any order. The
software may be made unsuitable by changes outside the control of Future IS Consulting
Limited including late changes by examination boards to their published
specifications. Future IS Consulting Limited will make its best efforts to respond to
such changes but no guarantee can be given.
Licence activation
The software will be supplied with licence codes that are keyed to the name of the
user organisation or institution.
These codes must be entered when the software is activated and must not be divulged to any other party. All
licence codes are time-limited. Intellectual
property
Future IS Consulting Limited asserts its intellectual property rights to the design and implementation of
its software product(s). Customer must not redistribute or attempt to reverse-engineer the software. Support
Customer support is provided by e-mail. Free support is available up to
the number of incidents specified for the product. Incidents in excess of
the specified number will be chargeable. The rate will be advised to
Customer before any chargeable work commences. Infrastructure
Customer must provide and maintain the necessary infrastructure including a suitable PC and its operating system as well as any network and server components. Back-up of data, passwords and
keys; liability for any losses
Customer is responsible for back-up of all data and software. It is recommended that the database files are installed on a server system that is backed up regularly.
Future IS Consulting Limited will not be responsible for lost data files, passwords or keys. Any support required to recover such a loss will be chargeable.
In any case of lost work or fault in the software, the liability of Future IS Consulting
Limited shall be strictly limited to the total sum paid by the customer for the
product but excluding any service charges. Microsoft™
components
Some products are supplied with a CD-ROM containing Microsoft components that may be required to ensure the satisfactory running of the
software. These are the property of Microsoft Corporation and are licensed only for distribution and use with
the software that you have purchased. You may not need to install the Microsoft components that are supplied with
the software if you already have Microsoft Office 2000 Professional Edition or above on your
PC. Payment
All fees and charges are due to be paid within 14 days of invoice
date. All goods remain the property of Future IS Consulting Limited until the related
invoices are fully settled.
